Amsterdam's Melkweg

For prime nightlife, this former milk factory, Melkweg is considered one of the Amsterdam’s most hip electronic music venues. Founded in the 1970s as a uniquely counterculture outlet, Melkweg now houses various multi-purpose rooms and large spaces for live music and dancing. Upstairs, the more intimate Oude Zaal (Old Hall) hosts buzzy, up-and-coming bands. A new modern hall addition called the Rabozaal hosts seated concerts. Two theaters for digital programming show movies and screenings.
